DAY 1 - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

BAY OF CHALEUR & CARAQUET

  • After Breakfast, 9 a.m.,  you will travel along the scenic Bay of Chaleur, renowned for its pristine waters and picturesque coastal villages. This bay is one of the world's most beautiful, so make sure to stop for photos and breathe in the fresh sea air.
  • Arrive in Caraquet, the cultural heart of Acadia. Visit the Village Historique Acadien, an open-air museum that brings Acadian history to life, and enjoy delicious Acadian cuisine such as "poutine râpée" and "fricot".
  • Miscou Island Lighthouse National Historic Site of Canada is a mid-19th century wooden lighthouse, located at the north-eastern tip of Miscou Island at Birch Point Cape, New Brunswick. It is strategically placed on a flat and exposed coastline surrounded by low scrubland, at the southern entrance of Chaleur Bay in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
  • Discover marine species housed in magnificent aquariums in which they have been able to recreate their natural habitat. The Aquarium NB literally immerses you in the Acadian waters by offering a window on local marine ecosystems, the industries that depend on them and more.
  • Visit the Saint-Augustin Catholic Church atop Du Parc Street, one of the largest stone churches in the Maritimes, before a tasting at the First Acadian Distillery Fils Du Roy where you will enjoy tastings of Gin Thuya and Absinthe La Courailleuse. The main goal of this distillery was to offer excellent quality spirits at an affordable price to New Brunswickers.  The products gained attention and entered international markets.
  • Enjoy a full East Coast Dinner Experience – equal parts rustic charm and ocean-kissed flavour!
  • Overnight Super 8 Caraquet

DAY 2 - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

MIRAMICHI- BOUCTOUCHE & MONCTON

  • Following Breakfast you will travel to Miramichi, a city known for its warm hospitality and rich history. Explore its vibrant waterfront, visit the Ritchie Wharf, and learn about the region’s ties to the Irish and Acadian peoples.
  • Enjoy a Maritime Kitchen Party with music & light refreshments
  • Continue to Shediac, the "Lobster Capital" for lunch. Snap a photo with the giant lobster sculpture and enjoy a freshly-caught lobster in one of the local restaurants.
  • Experience the Pays de la Sagouine.
  • Enjoy ”Akadi Lumina” evening experience at the Pays de la Sagouine and farewell group dinner
  • Following Breakfast, you will travel to Miramichi, a city known for its warm hospitality and rich history. Explore its vibrant waterfront, visit the Ritchie Wharf, and learn about the region’s ties to the Irish and Acadian peoples.
  • Overnight at Chateau Moncton

DAY 3- MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

MONCTON - HOME

• If time permits, explore downtown Moncton.

• Wrap up your journey with returning flights departing from Moncton

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS JULY 1ST TO GUARANTEE THIS DEPARTURE.  


BASED ON A MINIMUM OF 25 GUESTS

$1899* CAD per person (SINGLE OCCUPANCY)


*$250 CAD DEPOSIT DUE UPON BOOKING


IF THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF 25 PARTICIPANTS IS NOT MET BY JULY 1ST, THE TOUR WILL BE CANCELLED AND GO FUNDY EVENTS WILL ISSUE A FULL REFUND OF ALL FEES PAID (INCLUDING DEPOSIT).


BALANCE OF FEES IS DUE BY JULY 27TH* UNLESS OTHERWISE ARRANGED AND CLEARLY SPECIFIED

CANCELLATION TERMS

WE UNDERSTAND THAT PLANS CAN CHANGE, AND WE’RE HERE TO HELP AS BEST WE CAN.  OUR CANCELLATION POLICY IS DESIGNED TO BE AS FAIR AND TRANSPARENT AS POSSIBLE:


  • A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to secure each booking.


  • Cancellations made by the traveller before July 1st are eligible for a refund of fees paid minus the non-refundable deposit.


  • Cancellations made by the traveller between July 1st and July 27th will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.


  • Cancellations made by the traveller after July 27th are non-refundable due to the advanced arrangements already in place.


  • In the event that Go Fundy Events cancels the tour, all fees paid (including deposits) will be refunded.
